JOYFUL BLESSINGS TO A NEW YEAR…2010..

Another Woodford festival signaling for many the closing of the old and the arising of the new…symbolised by a gigantic and amazing Woodford fire ceremony.

For the Zenthai Woodford team it is a great opportunity to unite our intentions, be inspired by the boundless talents and hopefully inspire others  towards the depth available through conscious touch. To anchor the team into each day each therapist is asked to select a word to remain a focal point for the day to keep our intention united and focus aligned especially when the energy resources are being challenged.

Allow, love, one, honour, serenity, clarity, infinite and .. were all the rivers to keep us contained in that ocean of awareness.

However..the word that arose for me on the cusp of a new year with crystal clarity was the word … STRENGTH …. Strength to not just break through obstacles when they arise ..but strength to move courageously in the direction of our dreams.

This was a word that I, like some of you, had visited continously in our youth. With my pursuits in Martial arts, mountain running and triathalons..it was always the stronger …the better. Here now is a revisiting of the word with new found power and depth. This is really a strength of will. Is it not our will that creates our destiny..??..that manifests our dreams…?? that allows our inner visions to transform to reality. However, this strength is not ego driven or time bound as often it is within our youth. This strength that arises with maturity is moreso aligned with Our Divine Purpose. In this case it has a receptive quality, can bend when asked, is non resistance and is fueled by passion. It is a strength embodied by water ..always moving towards the destination but may need to bend at times to accomodate for the obstacles that arise. For strength to contain this quality it requiires a need to remain CONSCIOUS. Being conscious like yoga is not simply a state it is a method..an employment…and as you would mostly agree,  a little harder than it sounds. It requires a warrior strength, a vigilante awareness to continually make choices that are from a place of our highest good.
In summation, STRENGTH can be applied through the 3 areas…

1.OUR WILL…stoking our passion ( fuel), following our dreams, manifesting our realities, acting with focused intent

2. OUR TRUTH… being undeterred by the judgement of others, and non reliant on the verification of other opinions…but thinking, speaking and acting from our own personal truths

3. BE CONSCIOUS… being strong in the way we relate to ourself, to others and to circumstance. If it comes from a place of unconditional love we have got it right.

I still remember vividly taking a year off in ‘97 and travellingt around Oz in our painted up, worn out kombi with my precious family …3  kids under 6 yr old…The bumper sticker on the back read “Strength  in Spirit’.

It definitely was a powerful and secure anchor for that year to keep the adventure and joy alive.
Here 13 years later I meet it again …just a little more ripened.

Wishing you a  2010 empowered with a mountain of strength.

Blessings

Gwyn
