I offer one on one bodywork sessions from our home clinic in Dodges Ferry, 45 minutes drive east of Hobart. Local, small-scale workshops beginning at the start of May, these will include some foundational bodywork gestures, a zenthai flow movement practice and connection through partner yoga. All building momentum for our 9 month Therapist training beginning January 2026.
My mission is to offer a space for re alignment and connection to the earth. Through these Zenthai gestures we work with the pathways in one’s body that need support, movement or stillness.
Maya says...
“Many years walking people through Tasmania’s native forests and mountain pathways inspires my exploration into the body’s landscape, over mountains and valleys to find a place of balance and tranquillity. I believe the way forwards into an expanded future is for each person to listen to their own purpose, their environment and find the space for stillness within the busyness of life. Between generating projects, growing family’s, community connections, working to get by or to step up. Imagine having a moment to feel empty, still, safe and open. This is what the offering of Zenthai Shiatsu brings into my days and maybe can bring into yours. Soft and centred yet a buzzing and blooming sensation that inspires my curiosity and engagement with life."
Reflections from clients...
“Maya moves with effortless flow and confident holding, reminiscent of a long time practitioner. The session was soothing and powerful and exactly what I needed. I would highly recommend this sister and her Zen Thai moves!”
— Chiara Beclu – event coordinator + artist
“Having received a Zenthai session from Maya, I immediately felt more able to move my joints feely. Furthermore the entire session was a blissful experience in which I felt almost hypnotised in a state of deep relaxation. She was incredibly knowledgeable and professional and made me feel safe and listened to. I can’t wait to receive another session when I can and I highly recommend a session to anyone struggling with either body or mind discomfort.”
