As noted in his latest book ” The Zen of Touch” his art is a form of underlining the importance of ’presence’ in therapy, His art is fuelled by his passion of us all moving into deeper states of Self realisation which dissolves separation and encourages awareness, whilst embracing the richness of community.
Mindful touch offers an experience like no other. Within it are the seeds for deep transformation and awakening..this is healing. Memories and traumas stored within the body are able to be accessed to allow the return of freedom back to our energetic and structural bodies.

What is Zenthai Shiatsu ?
Zen Thai draws from the respected healing traditions of Zen Shiatsu and Traditional Thai Massage whilst using proven Osteopathic techniques.
Mindfulness and heart delivery are highly emphasised throughout the experience. Zen Thai, generally speaking is the integration of 2 healing traditions reigning from the East, namely Zen Shiatsu and Traditional Thai Massage.
The Yoga Therapy and Osteopathic techniques which also are heavily emphasised within the program allow the practitioner another set of effective tools for their healing practice.
Zen Shiatsu (literally meaning ‘finger pressure’) was founded by Shizuto Masunaga over 100 years ago. Based around the Chinese Meridian System it is an in-depth healing art of how we can utilize Ki (life-force) to keep our bodies and minds in a state of equilibrium.
Our day-to-day interaction with our internal and external environment can create blockages or leave deficiencies. Zen Shiatsu is based around using Ki and the principles of Yin-Yang to sustain a balanced state that leave us vitalized, alive and free beings.
TTM (Traditional Thai Massage) is an ancient form of healing that draws its roots from India in the time of the Buddha (776 BC). Performed in a meditative, pure state it is a magical dance that involves stretching and aligning of the energetic and structural body. Similar to yoga it draws its roots from the most ancient healing practice of Aruyveda and often leaves clients with a renewed vigour and clarity.
“Life is energy. Without it nothing moves… nothing rests. Without energy, matter is inanimate. When we see energy we are seeing spirit. Each spirit is a manifestation of the Great Spirit, Tao.??
Therefore, we must not make negative judgements about anyone. Instead we must marvel at the creativity of God, or Tao.
As Oriental Medicine practitioners, our only desire is to facilitate the movement of energy, with ourselves and each person we encounter – to bring forth our own inner being, as well as the inner being of those around us. By acquiring this wonderful knowledge, we have it in our power to serve such a purpose: to move energy in the direction in which it already wants to go. What a great way to live.” Ohashi
