“Nine months ago I had a feeling… one where you feel your heart strings being pulled in a direction that makes no logical sense, yet the calling is so loud there’s no choice but to follow it. What unfurled from this feeling was a fast decision to pack up my life, leaving behind everything I once knew to dive heart-first into the unknown.
And so came the birth… out of the nine month incubation of learning the healing art of Zen Thai Shiatsu. With the learning came the discovery that this practice is so much more than just bodywork. A weaving together of Zen Shiatsu, Thai massage and osteopathic techniques — it is a therapeutic practice of reverence, of listening deeply to what lies within the structure of both the physical and energetic body, listening to what speaks to us beyond verbal communication and bringing harmony and balance back into all layers and dimensions of the Being.
In a world that so many feel isolated and alone — not only mentally but on a cellular level, I feel so deeply that this practice is a pathway into healing the world, re-connecting what we have lost, through loving touch and intention — a dissolving of the illusion of our separateness, so that we can come home to the universal truth that everything in existence is inter-connected and interwoven. The individual self is but a fragment of the eternal cosmos.
I have endless gratitude for Gwyn, along with the other incredible teachers and facilitators for sharing their boundless hearts and wisdom, for showing me the way.”
— Jac Keleher, Zenthai Therapist Program graduate
“Completing Gwyn’s facilitator training was like putting the icing on my teaching cake. I’ve been teaching for 6 years and after having recently finished the Zenthai training I feel, more than ever, a deep confidence and ability to hold space for my students. I feel comfortable and safe in my own vulnerability as a teacher and I’ve been able to facilitate so much growth in my students through a newfound ability to confidently encourage self enquiry.
The training process was life changing and transformational, and I felt challenged but held throughout the experience. I’d highly recommend any training or retreat held by the Zenthai team.”
– Jess Humphries, editor of Australian Yoga Journal
“It’s been few months since our retreat in Bali . Interestingly, effect of the retreat lasted for me and I still feel it in my work and also my body. What we learned and experienced is far beyond words – how do you describe energy shifting, creativity rising, happiness oozing and far, far more?I witnessed significant change in everyone. We came out renewed and empowered .”
– Asho Gevorgyan, participant Zenthai Flow Teacher’s Retreat, Bali February 2017
“There are times when a teacher is able to transmit insight, knowledge & technique at the same time to capture and educate students of all levels and experiences; training with Gwyn is one of those moments! I have had two profound opportunities to study Zen Thai Shiatsu in Bali with Gwyn and both have left me feeling deeply touched and inspired to take care of myself, others and my relationship to spirit in new ways. The techniques he teaches are full of amazing tips, tricks and depth for beginning and experienced therapists and all the while his personality exudes acceptance and compassion that makes the learning extremely potent. Wrap all of that into a package of a ‘really cool dude’ and you can begin to sense what it is like to study with him… but words can not really capture what must be experienced first hand and I highly recommend any of his programs to everyone.”

“When you enter into the Zen Thai tribe for the first time, you are not welcomed as a stranger, you are welcomed back. You’re welcomed back as a sister or a brother who has travelled away and is now returning to share the magic of your journey with the rest of the tribe. Zen Thai has allowed me to experience what it means to be part of a community where love is abundant, support needn’t be asked for and dance offs are never out of the question. The love that is cultivated within our family fills us up and spills out to be shared with all. From this place, in this space, healing can flow free.”
– Steff Ward (student of 2013 program, traveler and adventurer of life)
“The Zenthai Shiatsu Therapist training has been one of the most holistic and practical trainings I have experienced in my over 20 years of studying bodywork and natural pathways to healing and wholeness. The practical and experiential nature of the training has allowed me to receive so many insights and healing tools on both a personal and professional level, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone passionate or curious about the healing arts and the journey of self discovery. Gwyn shares his embodied wisdom, depth of experience and passion for his art with great humility, grace, simplicity, playfulness and in the spirit of devotional service. I felt extremely safe, nurtured and honored for my own unique expression and guided by a master of his craft. Another profoundly healing part of this training is the opportunity to journey and grow as part of a colourful and diverse community of souls united in unconditional love, encouraging each other to shine and unveil the truth of who we really are. My deep gratitude and love for the gift and grace of Spirit that guided me to the loving souls at the Mt Ninderry Healing Sanctuary.”
– Saleemah Ladhani (long term Kahuna bodyworker, intuitive and gifted healer)
“By combining practical Zen Thai Shiatsu techniques with the psychological aspects of Traditional Chinese Medicine, I have been able to provide a more holistic practice. Assisting those to help themselves in their own healing and to see the difference it makes in their lives can I believe, only be achieved by attending Gwyn’s workshops and experiencing first hand the dedication and passion he is able to impart. I always come away from his workshops feeling excited plus challenged and as though I’m on the road less travelled. Gwyn, thankyou, thankyou, thankyou.”

“Gwyn – as a teacher you resonate and excite every fibre within me. I come away motivated and even more dedicated than before. But it is your pure energetic form that seems so authentically connected and at peace with being the very best version of the perfect “Gwyn Williams” that inspires me the most. You do that with such an unlimited sharing of compassion and love for everyone around you. My own journey might not follow every footstep you have left behind in the sand, but rather I hope will add to this amazing and beautiful Zenthai pathway that is growing across the world.
“Back home in Hamburg/Germany I’ve got busy with teaching again …but everyday I’m thinking of the great and evolving teacher training I’ve had with you six weeks ago! I’m not good with words, but so grateful everyday for this! And in hard times, practicing bodywork and yoga and getting deeper into Zenthai makes me happy:-) All your words ringing in my head and guiding me the way;-) Thank you so much!
I’m really getting out of my comfort zone, again, and again and again! I taught my first two Zenthai classes! And I get the idea of it being fun, being out of it, and freely exploring 😉 Looking forward to learning more and seeing you again sometime!”
