Heidi’s passion is the link between the body and the mind. She combines Zenthai Shiatsu with body-mind therapies — her curiosity is uncovering the connection between physical symptoms, blocked emotions, trauma and habitual behavioural patterns.

It was the beginning of my healing journey and continues to be a major part of my work.

Through a combination of Zenthai, Emotional Anatomy and other mind-body therapies, my sessions encourage you to take away the thoughts and the dramas, to drop into the body.  We release the physical, then we look at what might underly the symptoms.

Instead of trying to get rid of the emotions, we bring them back to the raw sensations in the body – the tightness, contraction, tenderness.  We make contact with the parts that have been longing for attention. That’s where the longterm healing can begin.

When I first came to see Heidi I was depressed, anxious, with headaches and my body hurt.

In the first session we went over my history, Heidi showed me ways to deal with my stuck emotions and I loved the Zenthai bodywork. I came out feeling clearer, hopeful and my body pain was a lot less.
